I Dream of Baseball

I dreamed that they were going to tear down Wrigley, and that I was at the last game. I was in the left field bleachers (always been a dream of mine to be a Bleacher Bum) and got Alfonso Soriano to sign my glove between innings. At the end of the game, they opened the field and I ran around the bases.

I had just gone into the clubhouse to meet some more players when I was interrupted...

...by a preschooler at tthe edge of the bed: "Mommy, we need to go to Wal-Mart. I need some big-boy scissors."

Ah well, at least Wrigley's still standing. :)

Hahaha, good dream & interruption!

As for "legalizado", I was pretty sure it wasn't "notarizado" because that was one of the requirements for another document (and I figured if they required the other document to be "atorizada ante notario", they would have said it about this one, too.) Anyway, I'm still waiting to hear back from the consulate in Houston, where I expect I'll have to get my diploma notarized by mail.

Glad you guys are doing well! I think Daniel would enjoy all the preschool guys around here; most Sundays the local parks are full of young (mostly) boys running around crazy, chasing wayward kites (that broke loose from their string... it's seriously a national pasttime for boys between ages 5 and 12 or so!), playing futbol, and chilling with their dads. I think it's Latin/Chilean culture at its best!

As an aside, I can definitely notice the difference in birthrates between Santiago and the US! There are way more little kids here than I remember in either N.C. or Okla.
