Yesterday I took advantage of no-excuse primary voting and took Daniel with me.
"Mama, where are we going?"
"I'm going to vote."
"What is vote for?"
"That's how we choose who's going to be our next President. We put a mark by the one we want to win."
"Yep. Barack Obama."
I swear, I have not coached him nor said anything about how I'd vote.
I did pick the Democratic ballot, and I did vote for Obama, though.

what is "no excuse" primary voting?
I should've been more clear.
"No excuse early voting". You can vote early, no questions asked if you anticipate you won't be able to vote May 6, which is our primary day. So I took advantage of it.
i mailed my absentee ballot about 3 weeks ago. hopefully it will arrive in NC by 5:00 pm on May 5th (the deadline to be counted).
and i, too, changed my party affiliation (back in February) and voted for Barack.
Woot for you, Big Brad!!
