I think Axl Rose (or whoever wrote that song) had to be thinking about his/her own child, because I got to thinking about the lyrics the other day (one of those I-can't-sleep-at-2-am things) and realized that I totally feel that way about my boy.
She's got a smile that it seems to me
Reminds me of childhood memories
When everything was as fresh as the bright blue sky
Now and then when I see her face
It takes me away to a special place
And if I stare too long
I'd probably break down and cry....
